As a sought-after concert pianist, Alice Sara Ott travels the globe – and now launches a comprehensive special travel edition for the bag label JOST.
The concert-pianist Alice Sara Ott…
The carefully crafted collaboration has the right bag for any occasion. Born in Munich, the talented young artist won numerous awards as a child and went on to play the world’s most prestigious concert halls. Recent performances include her debuts with the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Alice‘s most recent album, “The Chopin Project”, which was crafted in coöperation with Icelandic artist and composer Ólafur Arnalds, topped the iTunes classical charts in 25 countries.
… now also designs a travel edition
The vibrant creative exchange between Dietmar Jost and Alice yielded a very personal collection enriched by Alice’s exceptional flair for graphics and design. She sketched all the drafts herself and was closely involved in the entire product design process. Everything you need for travelling – The collection consists of 5 mix&match bags – a carry-all, two briefcases, a clutch and a bucket bag (traditional Japanese handbag) plus a purse and a beauty case. Paying homage to Alice’s German-Japanese roots, each bag is accompanied by a leather origami tag designed by the pianist herself. The bags’ lining features an origami pattern drawn by Alice.
